The Reds on the Island will be considered a big favourite, but Pioli’s team look great physically at the beginning of the season. They play aggressively, with a lot of running and maybe that’s the recipe for avoiding defeat at the European premiere.
Liverpool has been drawn in a tricky group in the UEFA Champions League, comprising Milan, Atletico Madrid and FC Porto. However, it’s a favourite, and they have enough depth to see off their opponents and book the first victory.
