Chelsea vs Atletico Madrid – Back a draw in the Champions League

Chelsea are one game away from the Champions League quarter-finals as they welcome Atletico Madrid at Stamford Bridge for the second leg of their last-16 tie.

Chelsea haven’t been beaten since Thomas Tuchel took over in January. They are undefeated in their last 13 matches, keeping 10 clean sheets in their last 12 matches including five straight shutouts.

Though they haven’t exactly been the most enterprising side in the final third, the Blues have shored up their defense.

Atletico Madrid sit at the top of La Liga, 4 points clear of Barcelona. There have been some weaknesses shown in recent weeks with two wins in their last seven matches.

Atletico Madrid let go of a great opportunity to keep their lead at the top of the La Liga table intact as they were held to a goalless draw by 10-men Getafe.

Both teams are defensively solid and only Olivier Giroud’s goal in the 68th minute of the first leg at the Wanda Metropolitano separates the two sides.
