Juventus vs Chelsea: Prediction and team news

Juventus and Chelsea will be aiming to continue their unbeaten start to the Champions League campaign when they face off today.

Juventus have been on a roller-coaster of a ride at the start of this season. They were dealt a major blow this weekend as Morata and Dybala left the pitch in tears. Szczesny stayed on the bench, and Perin was handed a start at his expense and the Italian could keep his place today as well. Chiellini is expected to start in the defense instead of Matthijs de Ligt.

Our first prediction for this match is for Chelsea to win, but we don’t expect them to have an easy job. 

Chelsea, on the other hand, suffered their first defeat of the season only this past weekend and will be looking for a quick response. Pulisic is unlikely to be back due to his ankle injury, as same as Reece James and Kanté, who has recovered from his ankle problem, but is “it’s for some days”. Jorginho’s listed as doubtful as is Mason Mount who did not play on Saturday and may not be ready for today either.

Juventus has been involved in many efficient matches recently, while Chelsea’s games usually stay under a 2.5 margin. We think the visitors might celebrate in this match, so our prediction is against Juventus @ 1.34.
